About Latent Equity
An independent research desk built around one question: how is artificial intelligence reshaping the economy, and the markets that sit on top of it?
Our house view, in plain terms
- Compute. We think the AI buildout is still early. Spending on chips, data centers and networks responds to real, rising demand for useful intelligence.
- Power. In our view, electricity and grid connections are becoming a key limit on how fast that build can go.
- Agents. As AI agents take on real work, we follow where the value moves: down to the infrastructure, and up to the agents themselves.
Methodology
- Original research. We work from primary sources: company filings, earnings materials and public datasets.
- Sourced charts. Every chart names its sources and as-of date, so you can check the work yourself.
- Fact-checked. Every figure is checked against its source before publication.
- Falsifiable. Each thesis states in advance what evidence would prove it wrong.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we correct it in public.
- Tickers. Public companies are referenced by cashtag (for example $MSFT) for clarity, not as recommendations.
